About our cereals Our cereals are wholesome, natural and nutritious. They are all activated, organic, gluten free, grain free, raw, vegan, paleo, sugar free, soy free, GMO free, salt free, additive and preservative free. We use ingredients given to us by nature. We love buckwheat which is actually a high protein fruit seed related to rhubarb and sorrel - it is gluten free and is a great substitute for grains. Our cereals can be used as a base for raw tarts, superfood balls and are so great for camping as they are nutrient dense and travel well.
The process We use the best quality certified organic ingredients to make our cereals. The process we follow is activating the nuts and seeds by simply soaking them in water for a period of time to germinate the seeds, thoroughly rinsing and draining them and then dehydrating them at a low temperatures. The purpose of this process is to deactivate enzyme inhibitors and remove any phytic acid present in the nuts and seeds thus releasing nutrients which can be more easily absorbed by our bodies and are able to be more easily digested.
Our flavours After dehydrating we have a nutitious, light and crunchy cereal base. We then add extra ingredients to our activated nuts and seeds to make 4 simple blends - "Almond & goji berry" with biodynamic Australian almonds & antioxidant rich superfruit goji berries. "Ancient mother blend" sweetened with goji berries & raisins which are full of B-vitamins, iron, potassium, calcium, antioxidants & fibre. This blend also contains the ancient Andean seed quinoa a complete protein- containing all essential amino acids & high in fibre & minerals. "Raw honey & cinnamon" is naturally sweetened with local raw honey & organic cinnamon a really yummy mix with crunchy almonds a great substitute for toasted granola. "Sprouted Buckwheat" buckwheat is a complete protein, alkaline, high fibre and contains minerals such as calcium & iron. We soak, germinate and sprout the buckwheat after dehydrating we have a crunchy, light & nutty base for cereals, raw desserts, to add to salads, superfood balls and more.
